Teeth whitening is a simple procedure that can take years off your appearance, bring you newfound confidence, and boost your self-esteem. Dr. Dennis is a teeth whitening expert and offers three different variations on the same theme, so you can choose the method that best suits you. On this page, we’ll discuss the basics of teeth whitening and give details about the take-home method, which is the least expensive. Then we’ll provide links to the stronger in-office KöR whitening system that we offer.
Why Do We Need Teeth Whitening?

How Does Teeth Whitening Work?

If you have ever tried over-the-counter teeth whitening methods, you may assume that teeth whitening simply doesn’t work very well. The truth is that these products, which are designed to be used without the supervision of a dental professional, are not very effective. So-called whitening toothpastes do not remain on the teeth long enough to have any effect, and the peroxide solutions offered with teeth-whitening strips are much weaker than professional solutions.
Three Methods to Choose From
Dr. Dennis offers three different methods because they have different advantages. For any of these methods, we will begin by making sure your teeth are clean and that there are no cracked teeth, open cavities, or loose fillings that could lead to tooth sensitivity.
The take-home method is the least expensive and allows you to whiten your teeth to your desired whiteness over time in the privacy of your own home. If you choose this method, Dr. Dennis will take an impression of your teeth and create a set of trays for you to use with the whitening peroxide gel she will provide along with detailed instructions. Although teeth whitening produces permanent results, you’ll continue to accumulate new stains, so you may want to touch up your smile every year or two. You can just keep the trays and pick up new whitening gel for this purpose.
We offer a White Teeth for Life program, so if you stay current with your checkups, any time you need a touch-up after your initial treatment, it’ll be free. And if you refer another patient, one of you will receive a free treatment.
