Sheri has been a front desk coordinator since 2011. “It started out as just a job,” Sheri said. “But quickly realized that I could help others and make a difference. When you love what you do, it’s really not work. I have learned so much since I started this type of work and enjoy helping others.” Sheri especially loves the patient communication and ability to help. She understands that many people do not like coming to the dentist and makes it a goal to help alleviate their fear and anxiety.
Working with Dr. Dennis and the rest of the staff is a pleasure. “I feel lucky to have found a team of people that are motivated to help one another. People want to be part of a family, and this office is surely that. When you find that bond, it motivates you to come to work each day.”
Personal Life
Sheri was born in Grand Rapids and still goes back there to visit family. She and her fiancée moved to Kalamazoo to be closer to her son. Then, after a 9-year engagement, they finally married. Now they live in Lowton where they bought their forever home.
They share that home with two golden retrievers, that travel with them everywhere. In fact, they even came to their wedding trip. When she’s not at work, Sheri enjoys taking the dogs for a walk, golfing (where she uses the opposite hand than she does for everything else in life because she learned golf with her husband’s left handed clubs), traveling, kayaking, cooking & grilling on the Weber.
