The Halloween Candy Buyback event is back for our tenth year!
Simply bring your unopened Halloween candy to our office during the times listed below, and Dr. Susan Dennis will give you $1 for every pound of candy brought in. Plus, you’ll also be entered into our drawing to win a seventh-generation iPod touch!
Dr. Dennis is proud to once again partner with Operation Gratitude, a non-profit organization dedicated to sending care packages to deployed military, veterans, and first responders. To date, we have donated more than 2,000 pounds of candy. Please help us donate hundreds more this year so our troops may enjoy some sweet treats too!
Monday, November 1, 10 am – 5 pm
Tuesday, November 2, 7 am – 7 pm

Have a safe and happy Halloween, and we hope to see you soon!
This year’s event is being held on Monday, November 1, from 10 am to 5 pm and again on Tuesday, November 2, from 7 am to 7 pm.
Simply bring in your excess unopened Halloween candy. We will weigh the candy and give you $1 in cash for every pound of candy brought in!
Your child may also write a short encouraging letter or color a coloring page to send to our military. We will include all the letter and coloring pages in with the donated candy. We’re sure your notes and drawings will bring smiles to our troops who are deployed overseas!
No, please do not drop your candy off at the door and leave. While we love sharing the candy with our troops, we do NOT want to share the candy with all the critters in the wooded areas around our office!
You can donate any individually wrapped, fun-or bite-sized candy, including chocolate!
Operation Gratitude does not accept unwrapped or homemade items. Powdered candy (such as Pixy Stix), will also not be accepted as it unfortunately does not travel well!
Instead of buying candy, we’d love for you to consider making a donation to help offset the cost of shipping the candy to Operation Gratitude’s collection center in California.
We’d LOVE to see your child all dressed up for Halloween, but it’s not necessary 🙂
Yes! To thank you for donating your excess Halloween candy, one lucky winner will win a seventh-generation iPod Touch worth $200!
